HitMe ("us", "we", or "our") operates the HitMe mobile application (the "Service").
This section informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use the Service and the choices you have associated with that data. HitMe is a mobile application free to download for users, while a subscription scheme is made available for members using HitMe for business purposes.
What information does the application obtain and how is it used?
User Provided Information
Users can use the application for free and without registration. However, doing so may disable a user from accessing other app features. For registered users (business partners), we may ask you to provide personal information that may specifically identify you such as the following but is not limited to:
Unless stated otherwise, the application obtains no personal user information for non-registrants. If so, rest assured that all information will be used to improve the Service only. Downloading the Service will also automatically register your device to receive push notifications.
The Service may also collect information on how it is accessed and used. This may include the following but not limited to the type of mobile device used, the device’s Internet Protocol address, browser type, your Mobile Operating System, time and date of your visit, the time spent on using the Service, and other diagnostic data.
The Service might require the use of mobile GPS to track the availability of the Service on nearby devices or location. However, it does not collect precise information about your mobile device location to safeguard your privacy rights.
Use of Data
HitMe uses the collected data for the following purposes:
To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
To notify members about any changes to the Service;
To allow members to participate in its interactive features;
To provide customer care and support;
To provide analysis or valuable information to improve the Service;
To monitor the usage of the Service;
To detect, prevent and address technical issues.
Transfer Of Data
No user data is shared with any third party. However, the usage data itself or any information given may be transferred to -- and maintained on -- computers located outside of your city, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ.
The Service may also need the permission to the use of your device camera to access and use the Service. The Service is an Augmented-Reality enabled application, therefore, the need for the use of a camera is needed to run and experience the main Service features. Any information collected will be used to optimize and improve the User experience. If you are located outside the Philippines and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to Philippines and process it there.
Disclosure of Data
HitMe may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
To comply with a legal obligation;
To protect and defend the rights or property of HitMe;
To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service;
To protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public;

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our service, on our behalf, or to perform Service-related services.
The service does not address and does not knowingly collect information from anyone who is under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us. We will remove such information from our files within a reasonable time.
